INTERESTING  STORY.
About 20 years back, I had a dog named ‘’Stupid’’. He was named so because when he was a little puppy, his toilet habits were not good and he would spoil the lawns. Gradually he became very nice but the name could not be changed.
Morning and evening walk was my daily habit, whenever I came out of my home, he would start running towards me at my sight, and approaching me he would stretch his fore legs and lower his head before my feet. I used to pat his head with my shoes saying ‘’ stupid, how are you, are you ok? In reply he would start licking my shoes and start wagging his tail. Then I would say ‘’Bravo, long live stupid’’. He would then start running around me in a circle jumping and wagging his tail fast to show his pleasure.
He had become very decent he never stepped in veranda of the house. One very hot summer noon while I was sleeping in my bed room, I heard the noise of scratches and moaning of stupid at the door, I realized the emergency and came out of my room. I saw stupid wounded and bleeding. I cannot forget the gaze of the stupid at that time as if requesting me to do something. ‘’Stupid do not worry, I will stitch the wound and you will be fine’’ was the sentence I spoke to him. All of my children had gathered too. But the wound was very big, a conical flap having upper edge right very near to inner angle of eye and base at the lower margin of the upper cheek was hanging down, teeth of upper jaw could be seen through the wound. Seeing the gravity of wound I realized that it would be impossible for me to anaesthetize and stitch the wound in that situation. As I found myself helpless ‘’ he has GOD too’’ was the sentence I uttered spontaneously and stopped the idea of stitching the wound.
The next day my tenant from the lands in a nearby village came to meet me. As he saw the dog, he said’’ sir, this dog will die soon’’. ‘’how can you say this’’ I inquired. ‘’Soon this wound will get infected and infested with maggots of flies and dog will die’’ he replied. ‘’ No no, he has GOD too’’ was my spontaneous sentence again.
Stupid made a routine to pass the day in a corner of a dark room reserved for the cattle to avoid the flies and would come out only at night for food. A month later when I saw the stupid, his wound had healed in such a nice way that no body could ever think of any prior wound there, not a trace of any mark was present. I was perplexed to see the result, how could a flap that was hanging down could go up at its own, how was this possible? Then I recalled my spontaneous words’’ he has his GOD too’’
This incidence cemented my faith upon GOD. NOW, in every challenge of my life,’’ I HAVE MY GOD TOO’’ is my MANTRA.
BUT before ending the story,  questions remain, WHO TOLD THE STUPID TO PASS THE DAY IN A DARK ROOM TO AVOID THE FLIES AND WHO GAVE HIM THE CURE AND WHAT WAS THE EFFECT OF THE SENTENCE’’ HE HAS HIS GOD TOO’’?
